The Dallas Observer just released their Best of Dallas awards, and they announced that the ‘Best Cup of Coffee’ in Dallas is right here in the Cliff (of course, we already knew this!). The award went specifically to the blend we created exclusively for Bolsa, ‘the Bolsa Blend’.
We’re happy to be supported by a great local restaurant like Bolsa, and we’re thrilled about the award. Thanks Dallas Observer!

On Wednesday June 10 we were featured in the Buy Indie Wednesday portion of the NBC-DFW website. It was written by Lyndsay Knecht Milne, who we actually met Sunday at the Bolsa Farmer’s Market. The article also included our friend and fellow roaster, Brian Daskam owner of Bookish Coffee. Check the article out.

We got some kinds words, from Todd Johnson of Side Dish – D Magazine, about the Farmer’s Market at Bolsa this past weekend. Thanks Todd, for the write up, I hope you’re still enjoying the coffee and please drop us a note when you run out.
It was a great time and a big success. In fact I had to sneak away to roast some more coffee in the middle of the event. Fortunately Rob (and of course my wife) were there to cover for me.
We are grateful to the folks at Bolsa for inviting us in spite of not being their own coffee provider because I’d imagine it wasn’t good for their coffee sales that day. But they sure weren’t hurting for foot traffic!

If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the article about Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters in the People Newspapers. Anaka Johnston interviewed us and wrote the article and I think she did a great job. Thanks!

We recently got our first taste of local press. The Oak Cliff People newspaper was kind and curious enough to write up an article about our business. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out and you want to, you can read it here.
